He has several decades of experience in investing and governance of company boards.

Jan was the former CEO of Funa Nachrichtentechnik GmbH in Germany. A company he acquired in 2004 and grew using a buy and build strategy until he sold his business to L-3 SAM in December 2010. He now serves on the board of several UK and European companies and is a private investor.
